On February 2, 2026, WISESTONE T visited the U-ENTER Innovation Center in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to share the current status of K-Lab operations and discuss directions for future collaboration.
The meeting was attended by local staff, including Oleg Riijchenko, Director of the U-ENTER Innovation Center, along with WISESTONE T’s CEO In-seok Kim and Executive Director Hyun-su Kim. They exchanged views on integrated operational plans for K-Lab and U-ENTER, as well as strategies for establishing a sustainable operating model.

During the meeting, participants shared the limitations of the current K-Lab operational model and reached a consensus on the need for a unified operating structure linked with the startup incubating infrastructure managed by U-ENTER.
In addition, starting in 2026, discussions focused on transitioning the program beyond simple IT education to a practical, entrepreneurship-linked model that enables young people to apply their technical skills toward actual startups and business commercialization.
The two sides also exchanged views on the importance of establishing a practical revenue model that links education, technology, and services to ensure the stable operation of K-Lab even after government support from organizations such as KOICA comes to an end.

Building on these discussions, WISESTONE T plans to further develop a collaboration model tailored to the local environment in Uzbekistan and continue exploring ways to contribute to digital talent development and the creation of a startup ecosystem across Central Asia.
