Establishing a Foothold in Uzbekistan through Collaboration with MAAB Innovation

Software testing specialist company WISESTONE T expands into Uzbekistan.
WISESTONE T announced on February 17 that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with MAAB Innovation, a company specializing in software development and IT workforce training, to expand its presence in the Uzbekistan software market.
MAAB Innovation, founded in Silicon Valley, USA, has expanded into Uzbekistan and currently employs around 200 staff. The company is an educational provider specializing in software development and IT workforce training.
WISESTONE T has been pursuing various strategies for overseas market expansion, and through this MOU, plans to establish a local subsidiary in Uzbekistan as early as the second half of this year.
The signing ceremony was attended by Wisestone T CEO In-Seok Kim, MAAB CEO Sherzod Ibragimov, and other representatives from both companies.
Key points of the agreement include :
△ Software development through the Uzbekistan subsidiary
△ Securing local software testing personnel
△ Strengthening night testing services by utilizing the 4-hour time difference
△ Cooperation on outsourcing overseas talent sourcing
CEO In-Seok Kim stated, "Through our Uzbekistan subsidiary, we aim to secure software development and testing talent that is difficult to hire domestically, and to train outstanding local professionals via offshore outsourcing. Furthermore, we plan to introduce Korea's high-quality software solutions in Uzbekistan and expand our software testing business, reinforcing our foundation for global market growth."
