Meeting with Laos Minister of Technology and Communications to Discuss Digital Transformation and Software Quality Cooperation

On Friday, February 27, 2026, WISESTONE T held a meeting at the office of the Minister of the Ministry of Technology and Communications (MOTC) of Laos. During the meeting, the company introduced its business and discussed ways to collaborate on Laos’ digital transformation and the advancement of software quality.

The meeting was attended by WISESTONE T’s CEO, Inseok Kim, and Executive Director, Hyunsu Kim, along with the Minister of Technology and Communications (Santisouk Simmalavong) and the Deputy Director of the Digital Technology Department (Pasitthideth Luangvilay) from Laos. The participants exchanged ideas for cooperation aligned with Laos’ digital transformation initiatives in the public and industrial sectors.

The Laos side explained that it is currently advancing national-level digital transformation, focusing on three main areas: Digital Government, Digital Economy, and Digital Society.

In particular, they emphasized the importance of international standardization, security, and reliability verification amid the growing use of various software, including e-commerce platforms and applications. They noted that cooperation based on WISESTONE T’s technological expertise and experience would be highly valuable.

In addition, both sides recognized the importance of ensuring quality and enhancing operational systems as digital services expand, and agreed to further define collaboration initiatives through working-level discussions.

Building on this meeting, WISESTONE T plans to continuously explore cooperation measures to strengthen the quality and reliability foundation required in Laos’ digital transformation process, and to turn these efforts into tangible collaborative outcomes.
